The Decree-Law nr. 123/2017 of September 25th established the transitional regime for converting previously bearer form securities to nominative form. During this transitional period the companies that have issued bearer securities must announce the conversion into nominatives, and the procedure will depend on whether or not they are registered in a centralized system. With this conversion it is necessary to amend the articles of association and other documents related to the issue of the securities before the commercial registry.
