The Decree-Law No. 72/2021, of August 16th reviewed the Legal Regime of Real Estate Investment Companies.
With this change, this type of companies is now allowed to have access to financing in capital markets and, as a result, the expansion of their base of financiers, which can now be public or private entities, allowing representative shares of its share capital to be traded, not only on a regulated market, but also on a multilateral trading system.
