The State Budget for 2020 was published Tuesday on The Republic’s Journal and is in force since yesterday.
The President has promulgated the document a week ago and noted the possibility of adaptations to face the COVID-19 pandemic.
The document was the first State Budget approved with budget surplus (0,2%) in Portugal’s democratic history.
A correctional budget still is a possibility help face the pandemic currently affecting Portugal and most of the world.
