On the 29th of May, and taking into account the data released on average life expectancy, the National Statistics Institute confirmed that the retirement age will increase to 66 years and 7 months in 2025. The retirement age is established taking into account the average life expectancy at 65, calculated annually in order to determine the retirement age for the following year.
