Ruling no. 16/2024 of the 17th of December, by the Supreme Court of Justice, clarified the application of the 1.5 factor bonus provided for in paragraph 5 (a) of the General Instructions of the National Table of Disabilities for Work-Related Accidents and Occupational Diseases. Under the terms of this ruling, the 1.5 factor applies to all claimants aged 50 and over, regardless of whether they reached that age at the time of the accident or afterwards.
