At the beginning of May 2024, the IRN implemented a new chatbot with artificial intelligence, with the aim of simplifying and speeding up the process of clarifying citizens’ doubts regarding the renewal of residence permits, and with the ability to provide answers in any language. Access to this tool is completely free and it works both on a computer and on mobile devices via the Institute of Registry and Notary’s website.
