Ordinance no. 265/2023 amended, for the first time, Ordinance no. 181/2017, which created the online civil registration certificate. Under the terms of the amendment, the online death certificate now provides access to registered information without any time limit, unlike the other online certificates, which are valid for a limited period of six months.
