One of the measures of the “Mais Habitação” (More Housing) Program was approved on July 6, 2023, in a special vote in the Assembly of the Republic, and is the exemption from IRS or IRC on rents until the end of 2029 for owners who remove their homes from local accommodation by the end of 2024 and place them in residential rental.
