As part of the “Mais Habitação” (More Housing) program, a proposal presented by the government relating to new registrations for Local Accommodation is currently being discussed in Parliament. When these are located in buildings originally intended for residential use, they require a change in the nature of the building and, in this sense, prior authorization from the condominium owners.
