Decree-Law 109-B/2021, of 7th December, updates the Minimum Monthly Guaranteed Remuneration (MMGR) to 705 euros, effective from 1 January 2022. An exceptional compensation measure was therefore created for employers, consisting of a subsidy of 56 and 112 euros per worker, depending on the situation, whose access requires the employer to have one or more full-time workers, as well as their contributions situation in regularized with the Tax and Social Security Authority.
