Companies who frequently resort temporary employment and fixedterm contract will be penalised in social welfare taxation. The penalty is implemented after adoption of a new employee turnover progressive rate, by the Parliament on July 2019.
The taxation is aimed to companies who exceed the average of fixterm contracts estimated for each sector. The higher the number of fixedterm employees above the average, the higher the penalty, to a maximum of 2%.
