Deliberation No. 1543/2025 of 16 December was published, amending the structure of the Legal Department of the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA), following the changes introduced by Decree-Law No. 55-C/2025 of 22 July. Specifically, the Unit for Removal, Expulsion, Readmission and Return (UARR) was extinguished and the Litigation and General Legal Support Unit (UCAJ) was created within the Directorate of Litigation and General Legal Support. The deliberation took effect on 1 December 2025.
