Companies forced to suspend activity during the new general confinement can proceed with the request for a simplified lay-off without having to provide proof of breakage of invoicing, according to measures approved by the Council of Ministers on 14th January.
Unlike the first phase of the pandemic COVID-19, the support is now only available to companies whose activity has been closed administratively, although the Government admits the access of catering companies that can only operate on a takeaway basis and, therefore, will not suspend contracts in full.
