On the 29th of May, the Law nº 18/2020 was published in the Official State Journal, that forbids until the 30th of September 2020, suspending the supply of water, electricity, gas and electronic communications in cases where the household is facing unemployment, loss of income equal to or greater than 20% due to the COVID-19.
The law also prescribes that there can be a reimbursement of SRP’s until the monthly limit of the Social Support Index (€431.81), as long as one member of the household of the subscriber of the SRP is in prophylactic or disease isolation, assisting children or grandchildren, “lay-off”, unemployment or activity termination.
