On September 25th of 2020, Parliament approved the extension of exceptional measures (provided in Law Nº1-A/2020, of March 19th of 2020) related to the period of suspension of evictions and to the expiry dates of housing and commercial lease agreements. To its suspension until December 31st of 2020 is cumulated the extension of the period to ask the IHRU for a rent loan and the suspension of the execution of mortgages on properties that constitute the owner’s own and permanent housing.
