On May 20th, Decree-Law No. 36/2022 was published in the Official Gazette, which provides for the exceptional and temporary price review regime in public contracts, which aims to respond to the abrupt increase in the prices of raw materials, materials and labor in the construction sector, due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the war in Ukraine and the global crisis in the energy sector.
