The Decree-Law 30-D/2022, of April 18th, was published in Diário da República, the portuguese Official Gazette, which provides for a set of support measures for families, self-employed workers and companies in the context of the armed conflict in Ukraine. Of note is the extraordinary regime for deferring the payment of social security contributions for which the employer is responsible and of contributions by self-employed workers who work within the scope of activities most affected by the increase in the price of fuel and energy, referring to the months of March, April, May and June. This regime provides that the payment of deferred contributions can be made in installments, starting in August and without adding interest.
