The Portuguese Government approved on the 28th of February 2020, the program “Working Inland” (‘Trabalhar no Interior’), which aims to support and incentivize the geographical mobility of workers to the Portuguese inland, as long as they came from main land Portugal or from abroad.
This new program was articulated with the previous one, “More Cohesive Jobs” program, that has a sum of about 125 million Euros for companies that are already settled in the inland or companies that wish to pursue their activity there”. The impact of such support, for incorporation of new companies, or companies settling for up to 5 years of social entrepreneurism projects, will be increased aup to 82,000.
The document, approved in its generality, will now follow public consultation.
