Decree-Law No. 102/2026 of 22 May has been published, amending Decree-Law No. 69/2004 of 25 March, which regulates the rules applicable to monetary securities known as commercial paper. The amendments introduced are intended to update and simplify the framework, making it more attractive and practical for companies, whilst also diversifying investment portfolios. The aforementioned legislation came into force on 27 May 2026.
