On 29 May 2026, Decree-Law No. 108/2026 was published, revising the Legal Framework for Urban Planning and Building (RJUE), the Legal Framework for Urban Rehabilitation (RJRU), the General Regulation on Urban Buildings (RGEU), and Decree-Law No. 10/2024, which approved the Urban Planning SIMPLEX. The purpose of this Decree-Law is to continue the reform initiated by Decree-Law No. 10/2024, seeking to adapt and simplify the measures previously introduced through the flexibilisation of procedures, the streamlining of deadlines, and the clarification of legal concepts.
